The results are in folks....

I am one of 7200 runners that have been chosen to participate in the 2009 St. George Marathon!
I'm stoked, to say the least. And, also a little scared.

26.2 miles is a long run.

Any pointers, tips, advice, words of wisdom are welcomed, encouraged and most appreciated!

Congratulations Whit! That will be such an accomplishment. I would love to do that someday...actually that's not true. I would love to say that I've run a marathon, but actually doing it sounds painful :) Good luck, I'm sure you'll do great. when's the run?

p.s. I may have sent that last comment twice, but I may have been signed in with sammy's account, so this is Danielle in case you were wondering :)

My Life I tell ya said...

I have no words of wisdom or advice, since I am not a runner but I know you will do great since you are great at whatever you do.

Congrats! Good luck with that. It is a long way to run, but you two skinny kids will do just great.

Congratulations on getting in. I have no advice for you since I'm not sure I can even run 1 mile. But I know you'll do great. Good luck with the training.

Congrats Whit!! you can totally do St. George!! I love it, and I am sad I am not doing it this year. Downhills are awesome! I am trying to get myself trained for Top of Utah but I just don't know if that is going to happen.
